The client’s flagship platform powered high-stakes collaboration, yet its infrastructure was critically outdated. An unsupported OS and unmaintained libraries created security vulnerabilities, while aging communication and media components undermined speed and quality.
The Solution
Working alongside the client’s internal engineers, Energma executed a deep technical overhaul to meet strict security standards and eliminate vulnerabilities. We:
- Rewrote Mezzanine’s Admin Dashboard from Ruby to Golang and React
- Conducted deep dependency audit and replaced outdated Conman library
- Implemented full Sync service for dynamic app configuration across environments
- Performed major Ubuntu OS upgrade
- Refactored WebRTC server for real-time communications
- Upgraded SoundTouch media engine from v13 to v27
- Built full-stack unit and integration test coverage
